Find Your Way to the Conwell Inn

PLEASE BE AWARE: The name of our street changed from West Berks Street to Polett Walk. Please note, some GPS systems and online maps will not recognize the new name, Polett Walk, but will still go by West Berks Street. This is the same physical location that we have always been located at, only the street name was changed. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the front desk at any time 215-235-6200.

Due to the recent re-naming of some streets, Guests occasionally have some trouble finding The Conwell Inn. Listed below is an elaboration on the general directions, once you get to Broad Street.

The Conwell Inn is located on Polett Walk, between Montgomery Avenue and Norris Street.
PLEASE NOTE: Polett Walk is a pedestrian walkway, so you must enter the parking lot via Beasleys Walk (also located between Montgomery and Norris).

From Broad Street - Points South (Center City Philadelphia)

1. While driving North on Broad Street (611), you will cross over Cecil B Moore Street and Montgomery Avenue.
2. You will then see Polett Walk on your right (at a traffic light), but you CAN NOT turn onto Polett Walk – it is a pedestrian walkway.
3. Continue 100 yds and make a right onto Beasleys Walk (You will see signs for the Conwell Inn) and follow around to find our parking. There are 9 spots labeled “Parking for Conwell Inn Guests Only”. You can park in ANY of these spots.
4. The entrance of the hotel is located on Polett Walk, just around the corner on the left. We will give you a parking hang tag upon arrival!

 *PLEASE NOTE: If you reach Norris Street, you have gone too far North!*

From Broad Street - Points North (Temple University Hospital/N. Philadelphia)

1. While driving South on Broad Street (611), you will cross over Diamond Street and Norris Street.
2. Right after crossing over Norris Street, you will make a left onto Beasleys Walk (You will see signs for the Conwell Inn) and follow around to find our parking. There are 9 spots labeled “Parking for Conwell Inn Guests Only”. You can park in ANY of these spots.
3. DO NOT pass Beasleys Walk to continue towards Polett Walk, as you CAN NOT turn onto Polett Walk – it is a pedestrian walkway.
4. The entrance of the hotel is located on Polett Walk, just around the corner on the left. We will give you a parking hang tag upon arrival!

Where are you coming from?

From Points North of Philadelphia via I-95

Take I-95 South to the Girard Avenue Exit #23. Follow Girard Avenue for 2.3 miles to Broad Street and urn right on Broad Street (Rt 611 North). Follow Broad Street past Montgomery Avenue. Continue past Polett Walk about 100 yards to Beasley’s Walk on the right (if you have gone to Norris Street you have gone too far). Turn right into Beasley’s Walk driveway and follow around to the end where you will see the Conwell Inn on the left.

From Points South of Philadelphia via I-95 (Including the Philadelphia Airport)

Follow I-95 North to Exit 22 on the left toward I-676 E / US-30 / Independence Hall. Merge onto Callowhill Street (0.6mi) and turn right on Broad Street (Rt 611 North). Follow Broad Street past Montgomery Avenue. Continue past Polett Walk about 100 yards to Beasley’s Walk on the right (if you have gone to Norris Street you have gone too far). Turn right into Beasley’s Walk driveway and follow around to the end where you will see the Conwell Inn on the left.

From the New Jersey Turnpike via the Ben Franklin Bridge

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 4; then follow Route 73 North one mile to Route 38 West. Follow Route 38 approximately six miles to cross Benjamin Franklin Bridge. From the bridge follow signs to Vine Street and proceed one mile to Broad Street. Turn right on Broad Street (Rt 611 North). Follow Broad Street past Montgomery Avenue. Continue past Polett Walk about 100 yards to Beasley’s Walk on the right (if you have gone to Norris Street you have gone too far). Turn right into Beasley’s Walk driveway and follow around to the end where you will see the Conwell Inn on the left.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike

Follow I-76 East toward Philadelphia and take Exit 344. Merge onto I-676 East toward Central Philadelphia (0.9mi) Note: this is a LEFT lane exit. Proceed one-half mile to the Broad Street Exit. Go through the first light at 15th street and proceed to the second light at Broad Street. Turn left on Broad Street (Rt 611 North).  Follow Broad Street past Montgomery Avenue. Continue past Polett Walk about 100 yards to Beasley’s Walk on the right (if you have gone to Norris Street you have gone too far). Turn right into Beasley’s Walk driveway and follow around to the end where you will see the Conwell Inn on the left.
